Subscribing

To vote Anti-Pop and be added to the membership list, simply email the words 'subscribe ANTIPOP' to gro.cosum@popitna. Optionally, you can include your location and name (see left), and any other information (e.g. occupation, musical inclinations, background) you might like to volunteer.

This method of subscribing (which dates back to the Renaissance era) allows you to have a record of your subscription and musoc.org to avoid electronic junk or scripts.

Unsubscribing

To unsubscribe, simply email the words 'unsubscribe ANTIPOP' to the above address (or any of the others on this site).

Anti-Pop

Anti-Pop is a combined mailing and 'membership' list.

By subscribing (one simple email; no need to confirm) you'll be able to keep up to date with musoc.org news (including behind-the-scenes goings-on, such as there are) and commune with fellow Anti-Poppists. You'll also have the chance to win CDs or other prizes in musoc.org's music competitions (from 2010).

Membership merely implies that you agree (more or less) with musoc.org's fundamental arguments against Pop 'Music' and for Art Music, as outlined in About and the FAQ. (Any further questions can be emailed to gro.cosum@ofni.)

Occasionally, musoc.org may like to use your 'membership' status to support campaign letters to the media, politicians etc. If you're happy for your name to be used in public documents as a subscriber/supporter of musoc.org, please either say so in your subscription or in a subsequent email message to the above address. Otherwise your support will be anonymous (though nonetheless valuable).

Anti-Pop emails will only be sent to you when there's something worth sending. Simple solidarity aside, if you'd like to communicate any ideas to fellow Anti-Poppers through this list, please subscribe and then your messages can be passed on via the Anti-Pop.

Rest assured, musoc.org won't use your email address to try to sell you anything, and no information is required from you apart from your email, which will remain secure on one server only, until you unsubscribe. (Musoc.org's minuscule privacy statement is on the contact page.)
